Ashby Shetlands in the Midlands | Daventry, Northamptonshire, East Midlands

The Ashby flock is based in Northants close to the Warwickshire and Leicestershire borders.  Now in our 17th breeding year, our goals are well conformed sheep with exceptionally fine, soft wool suitable for breeding and showing.  Micron tests on our young stock has shown consistent results in the 20-24 micron range with a high comfort factor. Our sheep are friendly,  come to the bucket, and are halter trained

Our stock for 2023 is mostly sold, with just a couple of breeding ewes, a ram lamb and 4 wethers for possible sale. Inquiries welcome. 

Next year we will have ewes with lambs at foot for sale,  but we are always happy to welcome visitors to our holding, to discuss all the attributes of Shetland Sheep and guide and assist those who wish to start their journey with Shetland Sheep.
