Shetland Sheep Society Sales
Annual Sales of Pedigree Shetland Sheep are organised by the Society. They are held at venues across the country, often in collaboration with the Rare Breed Survival Trust. Such sales usually have a Show of the sheep which are on offer in the auction which means potential purchasers can see how an experienced judge has rated the sheep. All stock at these sales undergoes a pre-sale inspection for correctness and freedom from disease.
